It’s late in November and I have been sick 3 times with month as well as my wife. I just got this site started when it hit so building this site is a little slow.
What do we have? Who knows.. the flu? A common cold?
It’s all the general coughing sneezing, runny nose nasal congestion, body aches, fever and run down feelings of being “sick”. The wife has it worse than I do this last time having caught it first. The other two times we got sick this month lasted between one and two weeks, so just as soon as we felt we were out of the woods, Bam, here it comes again.
The wife works at a nursing home and on going to work they sent her home right away telling her it sounds like the has walking pneumonia. (that’s just one nurses opinion) Right now, we cannot afford a doctor’s visit or the expensive medicine they will push on us. So we decided to do things The Natural Way. After all, this is how people healed themselves of sickness for hundreds of thousands of years before there ever was a such thing as a synthetic pharmaceutical.
Doing research on the net I looked for the foods that have the highest amount of antibiotic properties in them. Turns out fresh garlic and raw honey is among the top on the list, and I had those on hand. They also have powerful antimicrobial properties and have been proven to kill many bacteria and virus’s. For now you can do your own research but I will go into more detail about these in another post.
I make up fresh “doses” consisting of one raw garlic clove and one tablespoon of honey. I have taken two “doses” today so far. The effects of each does seems to last about 2 to 3 hours however this is only according to how I feel physically. The garlic and honey may keep working on my system from within. When I start to feel run down and weak I take the garlic and honey and within 5 minutes I’d say 75 % of the run down feeling is gone. This also helps with my coughing and clears my stuffy head some.
I will report back tomorrow after continuing use. I plan to take at least 5 “doses” each day. The idea is to see if the antibiotic / antimicrobial properties of the two are strong enough to cure me of this “cold”.
Here’s how I take it:
I use one fresh peeled garlic clove. I chew it up whole. I chew it so long as to let it release it’s antibiotic properties. This will cause a burning sensation in your mouth and you will feel like your mouth is On Fire.
At this stage you know the garlic is ready to be swallowed. Next take a tablespoon of honey and swallow this with the garlic. You may have to swallow a little water behind this to help wash it down. DO NOT use milk or anything to counteract the burning of the garlic!
These burning chemical processes from the garlic are the antibiotic properties you want and needs. This burning feeling goes away just a few minutes after you swallow so it really is not bad at all. The honey also helps sooth the burning feeling.
I could say I feel 75% better after taking these than I did before. I trust the antibiotic and antimicrobial properties keep working to heal whatever infection is causing this “cold”.
